The Ladies Super League Pairs Competition was hosted this season by Welling and I would like to thank Kelly and the Staff of Guy Earl of Warwick for making us all welcome. The competition was well supported with all teams entering two pairs and many family members and friends coming along to give the teams support.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, starting on time and going like clockwork (even with the fag breaks!), thanks to all the Ladies who played, chalked and supported every team. It was really good to see everyone enjoying themselves and the atmosphere was friendly yet competitive – just how darts is meant to be.
Congratulations to Kelly and Andrea who played consistently throughout the evening and commiserations to Wendy and Mandy who did have their chances to level, before Kelly stepped up to the oche to win the match.
I look forward to running the next two competitions which will both be played at Waltham Forest’s venue.
